Wessex Water

YTLPI owns a 100% stake in Wessex Water, one of the most efficient water and sewerage operators in the UK. Wessex Water is a utility concession in perpetuity. This significant acquisition represents YTL's first major foray into Europe, and marks the beginning of another exciting chapter in the growth and development of the YTL Group.

Wessex Water is also a three-time winner of the Queen's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.

Activities in Singapore

YTL PowerSeraya Pte Ltd

YTLPI owns a 100% interest in YTL PowerSeraya Pte Ltd, the second largest power generation company in Singapore in terms of installed capacity, with a total licensed capacity of 3,100 MW. PowerSeraya operates under a 30-year licence granted by the Energy Market Authority of Singapore. It also operates its B2C brand, Geneco.

YTL Communications Sdn Bhd

The Yes journey began in 2010. Since then, YTL Communications has kept pushing the boundaries of innovation in communications technology and began offering 5G services to customers in 2021.

Other Activities

PT Jawa Power

YTLPI has a 20% stake in PT Jawa Power which owns a 1,220MW coal-fired power plant located at the Paiton Power Generation Complex in East Java, Indonesia. Jawa Power has a 30-year PPA with PT PLN (Persero), the state-owned electric utility company.

YTLPI's subsidiary, PT YTL Jawa Timur is the O&M operator for Jawa Power.
