Designation of Executive Chairman and Managing Director for YTL Corp, YTL Power, YTL Land & YTL Cement

Kuala Lumpur, June 29, 2018

The YTL Group today announced a re-designation of roles on the Board of Directors of three of its companies listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad and its unlisted subsidiary, YTL Cement Berhad.

The changes are mainly driven by the need for a reorganisation and streamlining of roles and responsibilities following the passing away of the late Tan Sri Dato' Seri (Dr) Yeoh Tiong Lay, the founder of the YTL Group, in October last year, who had served as the Executive Chairman of both YTL Corporation Berhad, YTL Power International Berhad and YTL Cement Berhad.

YTL Corporation Berhad has re-designated Tan Sri Dato' (Dr) Francis Yeoh Sock Ping as its Executive Chairman, from Managing Director previously. Dato' Yeoh Seok Kian has been re-designated as the Managing Director, from Deputy Managing Director previously.

YTL Power International Berhad has re-designated Tan Sri Dato' (Dr) Francis Yeoh Sock Ping as its Executive Chairman, from Managing Director previously. Dato' Yeoh Seok Hong has been re-designated as the Managing Director, from Executive Director previously.

YTL Land & Development Berhad has re-designated Tan Sri Dato' (Dr) Francis Yeoh Sock Ping as its Executive Chairman, from Managing Director previously, whilst Dato' Yeoh Seok Kian has been re-designated as the Managing Director, from Executive Director previously. Dato' Suleiman bin Abdul Manan has stepped down from his current position as the Non-Executive Chairman and will remain on the Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director.

In addition, YTL Cement Berhad, an unlisted subsidiary of YTL Corp that carries out the YTL Group's cement manufacturing activities, has re-designated Tan Sri Dato' (Dr) Francis Yeoh Sock Ping as its Executive Chairman, from Managing Director previously, whilst Dato' Sri Michael Yeoh Sock Siong has been re-designated as the Managing Director, from Executive Director previously.

All the above-mentioned changes take effect from today, unless otherwise stated.
